Letters to Leaders: One-Gorilla Business

Hello, leaders.

Marty and I wanted to pass along a recent podcast episode of “Invest  Like the Best with Patrick O’Shaughnessy.” In it, Patrick has a  conversation with Geoffrey Moore.

If Moore’s name doesn’t ring a bell, I’m sure you’re familiar with his adaptation of the Technology Adoption Life Cycle featured in his book, Crossing the Chasm.

Funny side note, “Chasm” was a book in the stack my uncle gave me during my freshman year of high school (along with Confessions of an Ad Man, Positioning: The Battle for your Mind, How to Win Friends and Influence People, Breakthrough Advertising, and See You at the Top, in case you’re wondering). What a nerd!

The whole conversation is worth a listen. However, we believe you’ll get much out of the first half.
